HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT POLICY

Galilee Energy Limited is committed to conducting our business in a manner that prevents personal injury or illness in conjunction with good environmental practice. We will encourage regular training for best practice in health, safety and environmental management within our community.

We believe that:

• No business objective will take priority over health and safety;
• All business activities will be conducted in line with environmental best practice
• All injuries are preventable;
• No task is so important or urgent that it cannot be done safely and responsibly; and
• Without diminishing management’s obligations, the responsibility and accountability for health, safety and environment rests with every individual.

To deliver on our commitment we will:

• Ensure that health, safety and environmental management practices are incorporated in all aspects of our business operations;
• Proactively develop a risk management approach to the identification and control of hazards, to eliminate, or if elimination is not possible, manage the risk to a level as low as is reasonably practicable;
• Consult with and promote active participation of employees, contractors and key stakeholders in the management of their own and others’ health and safety;
• Provide resources to achieve a systematic approach to health, safety and environmental management to ensure continual performance improvement;
• Comply with or exceed all relevant legislation and standards including the development of job specific safety management and emergency response plans;
• Set measurable targets and seek to continually improve our health, safety and environmental performance; and
• Periodically review and maintain our Health, Safety and Environmental Policy and Procedures.
